TaxAdmin.ai as an open-access collaborative source of information attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and people’s privacy. Our privacy policy informs you about the way by which personal data is processed, handled and stored.
TaxAdmin.ai reserves the right to make changes to the privacy policy if necessary, to continuously comply with relevant laws.
Purpose and legal basis for processing of your personal data
TaxAdmin.ai is designed in such a way that most of its information can be accessed without having to provide personal information.
However, as indicated in our cookie policy, TaxAdmin.ai uses cookies for functional and analytical purposes which qualify as personal data as defined in 4(1) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Processing of personal data from cookies is based on the legal bases of consent for analytical cookies and necessity for the performance of a service regarding functional cookies. Accordingly, you may always choose to decline the collection of your personal data for analytical purposes by opting for that option in our cookie banner.
Moreover, upon contact by an end-user in through our contact form, TaxAdmin.ai will process the name and email address of the user contacting us. Processing of personal data is based on consent of the end-user contacting us. If an end-user wishes to contact us anonymously, he or she is welcome to use ‘anonymous’ in the contact form or a pseudonym and an undescriptive email address. Information provided by anonymous users will be processed through the same verification methods.
Storage period
TaxAdmin.ai will never store personal data for longer than necessary.
Cookies from website visitors is never stored longer than for the purposes and storage period detailed in our Cookie Policy.
Personal data collected during ad hoc contacts with website visitors will not be stored for longer than the exchange, and will be erased upon cessation of the communication.
Guarantees for processing personal data
Your personal data will always be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection rules.
Processing of personal data is limited to the intended objective of providing publicly accessible information of the use of AI by tax administrations and ensuring a functional website.
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties and will never be used for direct marketing. TaxAdmin.ai also does not engage in indirect processing of personal data in public sources.
Rights of data subjects
As a data subject, you have the right to be informed, right to access your personal data, right to rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you, right to request the erasure of your personal data and restrict the processing of your personal data. In the EU, these rights are guaranteed by (among others) Art. 14 to 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Withdrawal of given consent is always possible without affecting the lawfulness of the processing of personal data as this is on the basis of the permission previously granted.
